Carolyn's paintings reflect every day scenes which she renders with joyous color and vibrant light. Strong composition, skillful techniques and rich color are combined to create each painting. A diversity of subject matter and an eye for capturing the moment are a hallmark of her creations. The artist Roy Adzak once said, "Good art is not what it looks like, but what it does to us". It is Carolyn's wish to bring delight to the viewer and a smile to their lips, for one cannot help but notice the obvious pleasure she takes in creating her work.
