Solo Show
On Friday, March 11, Carolina Trace Country Club will be hosting a gala event featuring the paintings of Carolyn Rotter. On exhibit will be 13 of the artist's favorite paintings. The artist will be available to discuss her works from 5-7 PM.News and Events
In October 2010 the works of Carolyn Rotter were exhibited at Sanford's Brush and Palette annual art show. There she was awarded second place for her painting "Tickled Pink", third place for "I'm Free Years Old" (a portrait of the artist's great-niece), and two honorable mentions for "Poppy" and "Sitting Pretty".
In September Carolyn was selected as a 2010-2011 Regional Artist Project Grant recipient. This award was through the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. The funds from this grant made it possible to develop this website.
This project is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Cultural Resources with additional funding from local arts councils in Cumberland, Moore, New Hanover, Richmond and Robeson counties.
